Senior Executive Assistant - On-Site located in Polk County Wisconsin
Compensation: Salary up to $100K DOE.
NOVON Consulting has partnered with a well-known and respected multi‑sector construction expert within WI & MN. Immediate need for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant with a strong background supporting leaders in the building, construction, or related field operations environment. This role provides high‑level administrative and strategic support to executive leadership, ensuring seamless coordination across fast‑moving projects, field, and corporate priorities. The top priority of this role is to maximize executive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics
- Triage incoming calls, issues, and problems by gathering key information and directing matters to the appropriate team member whenever possible, ensuring the executive is engaged only when necessary
- Determine when issues require executive‑level attention versus delegation
- Prepare and refine presentations, reports, and executive‑level communications
- Convert verbal direction from executives into structured, trackable tasks and action items
- Maintain a decision and action log, documenting executive decisions, assigned owners, and monitoring progress through completion dates
- Serve as a trusted partner to leadership, anticipating needs and resolving issues before they arise
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects, deadlines, and follow‑through across teams
- Support board meetings, leadership sessions, and strategic initiatives
- Build strong internal and external relationships on behalf of the executive team
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism
Qualifications
- 10+ years of executive‑level administrative support experience
- Background supporting leaders in the building, construction, or related field operations environment - Highly Preferred
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with calm, accuracy, and urgency
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and modern productivity tools
- PowerPoint presentation setup and formatting experience preferred
- Experience supporting C‑suite or senior leadership strongly preferred
- Some IT or technical support experience is helpful, including basic troubleshooting such as printer setup and coordination
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube is a plus
- Professional presence, sound judgment, and a solutions‑oriented mindset
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
