ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Executive Administrator (EA) serves as a highly-trusted partner to the principals of Klein Energy, providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and strategic support. This role extends beyond traditional administrative duties and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-level business operations, client engagement, and process optimization.
The EA will manage complex scheduling, financial coordination, travel logistics, and communications while interfacing with senior leaders across government and corporate sectors. This individual will also play a key role in supporting presentations and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across multiple business interests.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maximizing productivity of principals:
- Plan, prioritize, and maintain complex calendars for Dale and Becky Klein
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including communication with high-level stakeholders
- Arrange and manage domestic and international travel logistics
- Support ongoing communications with clients, partners, and executive-level contacts
- Serve as a liaison with senior leaders across U.S. and international organizations
Managing financial operations and reporting:
- Prepare and issue client invoices
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Gather, organize, and submit expense receipts and travel reimbursements
- Manage vendor invoices, including tracking and processing payments
- Support the financial operations of Klein Energy and its clients with accuracy and discretion
Supporting presentations, client deliverables and partner engagements:
- Assist with coordination across the principals’ various business activities
- Enhance and refine PowerPoint presentations and slide decks
- Assist in preparing materials for client /partner meetings and strategic discussions
- Support the development of polished, professional deliverables
- Interact professionally with clients, partners, and stakeholders on business-related matters
Coordinating events, logistics and administrative operations:
- Support event planning and coordination
- Order supplies, materials, and occasional personal items as needed
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support across business functions
Developing operational efficiency and systems:
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and workflows
- Develop and implement systems that enhance efficiency and organization
- Organize and maintain digital files and data in a structured and accessible manner
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Professional Expertise
- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a high-level administrative role
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, excellence, and follow-through
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience handling financial tracking, invoicing, or bookkeeping tasks

Based in or near the Austin/Central Texas area
Experience working in energy, power sector, government or related fields preferred but not required
