Job Overview:

The Licking County Board of Realtors® (LCBR) is seeking an experienced individual to support the Executive Officer in an evolving real estate industry and public policy environment. The Executive Assistant (EA) will assist the Executive Officer of LCBR® and must demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and a strong commitment to promoting the association’s goals and programs to both the REALTOR® community and the public. The EA will interact courteously and assist members, Directors, Officers of the Board, and the public in person, by phone, online, and via email.

The ideal candidate must be supportive of volunteer-driven membership organizations and have a commitment to teamwork. The Executive Assistant should excel in supporting the Board and staff, with strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities. This role requires the ability to self-motivate, stay on task, and provide a welcoming environment, as the Executive Assistant will be the first point of contact for anyone coming into the office. Event planning and organization will also be required. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher is preferred, along with strong computer skills. Experience with website management and Constant Contact is a plus. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position is part time at 18 hours per week (three 6 hour days) , no benefits offered.

Qualifications:

  • If the successful candidate is a licensed Realtor®, the license will need to be inactive or put in escrow prior to the start date of the position.

Experience: Ideally, 3 years of administrative or executive assistant experience.

Knowledge: Basic office management.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with office equipment, event planning, and database management.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and engage with board members, staff, and external partners in a professional manner.
