Summary of Position:
MedStar Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support senior leadership. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—you’ll serve as a key partner in managing priorities, driving projects forward, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide high-level support to a Vice President/Corporate Director, managing complex calendars, meetings, and priorities

Coordinate executive communications, prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence

Track special projects and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and follow-up

Organize and support meetings and committees, including agendas, minutes, and logistics
-
Serve as a central point of contact, screening calls and managing requests with professionalism and discretion

Maintain confidential files and ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting
-
Oversee office operations, supplies, and administrative workflows
-
Exercise sound judgment and take initiative to resolve day-to-day issues
Minimal Qualifications:
Education
-
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required and
-
Formal secretarial training preferred

Associate's degree preferred
Experience
-
2+ years of executive or administrative support experience (healthcare preferred)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Experience managing complex calendars and scheduling systems

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize competing demands and maintain attention to detail

This position has a hiring range of : USD $59,820.00 - USD $101,836.00 /Yr.
