We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on Facilities Management Assistant to support our operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage critical maintenance documentation. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Reporting & Documentation (Core Focus)
- Crucially responsible for generating and analyzing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) reports from the CAFM system (Maximo/Concept Evolution), ensuring scheduling compliance and tracking performance metrics.
- Compile comprehensive overall building maintenance reports, summarizing all reactive and preventative work completed, service contract status, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation for all completed work orders, asset histories, and compliance inspections.
Maintenance Execution & Problem Solving
- Serve as the first responder to on-site issues, demonstrating the ability to diagnose and fix basic operational issues across building systems (HVAC, minor electrical/plumbing faults) before escalation.
- Coordinate and escort technicians/contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, to standard, and with minimum disruption.
- Must possess a valid UAE Driving License to facilitate rapid response and travel between sites as required.
Compliance & Administrative Support
- Provide essential support to the Facilities Manager in ensuring full regulatory compliance with Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, and other relevant UAE authorities.
- Manage and track all incoming service requests via the CAFM system, ensuring timely assignment and resolution.
- Assist in vendor coordination, procurement paperwork, and tracking service delivery against SLAs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on technical or facilities coordination experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Mandatory: Valid UAE Driving License.
- Technical Skills: Proven ability to read and understand technical reports.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and implement fixes for general building maintenance issues.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or mechanical engineering field is preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
