About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, polished, and proactive Executive Assistant to support Mike Alder, Founding Trial Attorney. This role is critical in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on complex calendar management, high-level travel coordination, and executive support.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
- Manage and maintain a highly dynamic and complex calendar, including court dates, trial schedules, client meetings, and internal leadership meetings
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including last-minute and multi-leg itineraries
- Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison between Mike Alder and internal/external stakeholders
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve issues
Legal & Administrative Support:
- Assist with preparation, handling, and organization of sensitive legal documents
- Support trial preparation logistics as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all firm and client matters
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups
Communication & Representation:
- Professionally represent the firm in all communications
- Respond to executive inquiries in a timely and polished manner
- Interface with attorneys, clients, vendors, and leadership with a high level of professionalism
Operational Support:
- Utilize firm systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, Filevine, and SharePoint
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with special projects and executive initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior leadership or attorneys
- Prior legal assistant or law firm experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing complex calendars and executive travel
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Slack, SharePoint; Filevine experience a plus
Work Expectations:
- Must be available to support occasional after-hours and weekend communications, particularly in connection with trial schedules or urgent executive needs.
- Overtime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with California law

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
