In addition, the firm publishes two digital newsletters weekly, offers government sales training and publishes daily breaking government news on the firm’s Government Market News that has high traffic participation, nationally and internationally.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides general office management oversight
- Assists the CEO extensively and others on an as-needed basis – duties include general office work, answering multiple phones lines, typing/drafting, filing, ordering supplies, correspondence, sorting and distributing mail, etc.
- Coordinates and manages all travel according to specific preferences.
- Manages schedules, coordinates meetings and conference calls based on priority.
- Performs word-processing including typing of reports, correspondence, and memoranda.
- Maintain contact database and holiday lists.
- Provide sales support.
- New client prospect one pagers – background for CEO’s prospect calls.
- Create Proposal templates for new client prospects.
- Maintain and keep sales sheets updated regularly.
- Proofreads all prepared documents for spelling and typographical errors.
- Screens and directs telephone calls.
- Takes telephone messages and sets up conference calls.
- Answers caller questions and/or refers caller to appropriate person.
- Follows up with callers on information requests.
- Prepare briefing materials for CEO and ensure all aspects of meetings are in order.
- Assure that all assigned projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assists with personal matters, as requested.
PREFERRED TRAITS ANDEDUCATION
- Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university
- 6 -8 years’ experience in corporate environment.
- Knowledge of computerized information systems and their application to all areas.
- Knowledge of secretarial, office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 10+ years related experience.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

- Capacity to build relationships and identify key contacts.
- Remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to protect confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
