Executive Assistant to the President, NTID
Essential Duties & Responsibilities-
Provides leadership and oversight for administrative operations within the assigned department or unit, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objective

Oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with university priorities

Ensures compliance with university policies, procedures, and regulations related to administrative functions and operations
-
Coordinates facilities management within the department, ensuring that physical spaces are well-maintained and meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students
-
Supervises and supports administrative staff, providing training, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

Other duties as assigned

Job Level Overview
Management and People Leadership Level 1 - Functions as a front-line supervisor of a work unit, focusing on supervising and setting day-to-day tasks for staff, maintaining schedules, checking work, and supporting daily services to ensure operational efficiency.
Assist the President of NTID/VP of RIT with all day-to-day activities in order to support the office to ensure that all functions run smoothly and efficiently. This entails direct supervision of 1 Sr. Staff Specialist, 1 Program/Event Coordinator, 1 Financial Coordinator and 1 Special Assistant for Interpretation and Special Projects. It involves working closely with the staff members of the NTID Divisions of Academic Affairs and Administrative Affairs. This position works closely with all chairpersons, managers, and members of the NTID Administrative Council within NTID. This position also needs to work closely with the vice presidents for RIT Finance & Administration and RIT Human Resources and the RIT Controller's office.
