Role: Executive – Business Development
Location: Kochi
Qualification: Any Graduate
Experience: 2–5 years

Datamate is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Executive – Business Development to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering innovative hospitality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Hotel Industry.
  • Utilize multiple lead generation methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and industry networking.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct engaging sales presentations, product demonstrations, and prepare tailored proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close business deals effectively.
  • Keep updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies for our hospitality software solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer support across the sales cycle and post-sales engagement.
  • Address client queries promptly and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or technology sector.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Required)
