1. Role Overview

As an MBA fresher, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement and inventory management cycle. Your goal is to maximize sales and profitability through effective stock planning, vendor negotiation, and trend analysis.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Buying & Sourcing: Assist in selecting product ranges and sourcing new vendors to ensure a diverse and competitive product mix.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels across stores (OOS - Out of Stock analysis) and ensure timely replenishment to avoid sales loss.
• Pricing & Margins: Work on pricing strategies to stay competitive while maintaining the required profit margins for Centreal Bazaar.
• Vendor Management: Communicate with suppliers for order follow-ups, price negotiations, and resolving delivery issues.
• Sales Analysis: Use Excel/ERP tools to analyze daily/weekly sales reports.
• Visual Merchandising Coordination: Coordinate with store teams to ensure that promotional products are displayed prominently.
• Market Research: Keep track of competitor pricing and new product launches in the FMCG/Grocery sector.

3. Qualifications & Skills

• Education: MBA in Retail Management, Marketing, Logistics or Supply Chain (Freshers can apply).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of Retail industry.

Soft Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
