The position of an Executive Casino Host will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with high-value guests. As an Executive Casino Host, you will be responsible for ensuring the ultimate VIP experience for our guests for Wendover Properties.

Pay range: $75k/yearly + /DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with high-value casino guests and provide personalized attention to their needs
  • Plan and organize special events and promotions for guests
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of casino services
  • Monitor guest activity to identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with all casino regulations and policies
  • Maintain accurate records of guest activity and provide regular reports to management
  • Establish goals and objectives for daily phone calls, letters, emails, etc., for the Casino Host Program regarding current, inactive and prospective high-end players.
  • Proven ability to resolve guest disputes in an effort to restore confidence in the Casino Resort and the service we provide.
  • Work collectively with all departments involved in planning and executing player events both on-site and off-site, tournaments for Table Games & Slots, VIP dinners on property and off-site, and themed events that are hosted throughout the year.
  • Identify non-carded slot & table games players that are higher worth and solicit them to sign up for the players club.
  • Develop host relationships with existing VIP players.
  • Must be proficient in developing annual budgets as well as quarterly goals for the Casino Host Program with a proven track record of controlling labor costs and expenses.
  • Collaborates with Executive Management to ensure proper yielding of the hotel rooms to maximize gaming revenue.
  • Work closely with marketing to help develop, execute, and evaluate marketing efforts.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports provided by the Accounting Department.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small groups and large groups.
  • Ability to present information to the Executive Team and public groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for identifying new/untapped business opportunities.
  • Assist the Director of Cage Operations in collection of bad debt or outstanding credit payments owed by guests that are assigned to the Casino Host.
  • Performs related and/or other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Be 21 years of age and High School graduate or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the casino industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of casino operations and regulations .Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works variety of shifts, including weekend and holidays. Will require standing, walking and at a occasionally sitting desk, throughout entire shift.
