EXECUTIVE CHEF – SLOW COOKING & FARM CUISINE

ABOUT THE ROLE

Heenat Salma Farm is seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead an integrated culinary ecosystem rooted in slow cooking, organic agriculture, and regenerative food culture. This is far more than a kitchen role — the successful candidate will shape a living food philosophy spanning operations, product development, guest experiences, education, and public advocacy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all daily kitchen operations: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, bakery & private dining
  • Develop and commercialize artisan products: preserves, fermented foods, breads, dairy, spice blends
  • Design and curate farm-to-table dining experiences, seasonal feasts & chef's table concepts
  • Develop catering services for corporate, cultural & private events
  • Drive recipe development rooted in slow cooking, traditional methods & seasonal ingredients
  • Build and mentor a multicultural culinary team — skills development, SOPs & kitchen discipline
  • Deliver culinary workshops, apprenticeship programmes & public cooking classes
  • Contribute to culinary publications, recipe books, research content & farm food documentation
  • Host and collaborate with guest chefs, artisan bakers, food researchers & culinary educators
  • Act as public advocate for slow food, ethical sourcing, organic agriculture & regenerative gastronomy

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8–15 years culinary experience
  • Destination dining & chef's table concepts
  • 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Training, mentoring & team development
  • Slow cooking & traditional food methods
  • Multicultural team leadership
  • Farm-to-table or regenerative food systems
  • Food writing, publishing or media (preferred)
  • Artisan product development for retail/market
  • Boutique hospitality or agro-tourism (preferred)
