Role Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Executive Content & Marketing Specialist to launch and manage a new, premium service wing focused on high-impact, custom content solutions for our e-commerce merchants.
This is a unique, high-autonomy role where the candidate is responsible for the entire customer lifecycle: from deep customer consultation and strategic planning to hands-on execution of content, design, and digital optimisation. This position is crucial for delivering value-added services that elevate merchant success beyond our standard platform offering.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Strategic Consultation, Scope Management & Reporting (The Client Partner)
- Serve as the point of contact along with an account manager for high-tier merchants, conducting in-depth consultations to understand their specific business challenges, customer base, and growth objectives.
- Understand Clients’ goals and set the right expectation and scope for the custom content service, translating complex merchant needs and customer insights into actionable agency-level marketing briefs and measurable outputs.
- Develop clear, data-informed content strategies (blog, social, landing pages) designed to fill gaps in the merchant's existing self-managed site.
- Client Performance Reporting: Conduct four recurrent, structured meetings per month with the merchant to share progress reports, review performance metrics, and collaboratively plan the next cycle of content execution.
B. Multi-Channel Content Production & Brand Asset Creation (Execution)
- Determine the most effective content format—be it video, image, text, or ad copy—that will work for the merchant's goals, and produce this content either manually or using AI-assisted tools.
- Generate compelling, conversion-focused content copy for product descriptions, landing pages, email campaigns, and marketing advertisements across various formats, including: Search Ads, Display Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Develop essential visual communication assets (basic graphics, banners, simple infographics) that align with the merchant's brand identity.
- Core Brand Responsibility: Create graphic visual designs for all internal and external communications originating from inside the NOWFLOATS product, as well as for the company's social media handles and email/WhatsApp channels.
C. Digital Optimization, Posting & Performance
- Apply best practices in Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to maximize the visibility and performance of all custom-created content.
- Execution & Posting: Handle the direct posting of engaging content on behalf of the merchant on their website (for updates) and social media channels (for engagement).
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to provide merchants with feedback and optimize materials for higher engagement and conversion rates.
- Maintain full quality control, ensuring all deliverables are professionally executed and exceed expectations for premium service.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2-5+ years of proven professional experience encompassing digital marketing, content strategy, and creative execution (freelance or agency experience is a significant plus).
- Strategic Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand complex business goals and translate them into simple, effective marketing action plans.
- Content & Copywriting: Exceptional skill in writing clear, persuasive, and SEO-friendly marketing copy.
- Digital Marketing: Solid working knowledge of Digital Marketing channels and best practices for SEO, paid ad content (Meta/Google), and social media.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in both writing tools (including AI assistants for scaling output) and design tools is mandatory for execution.
- Design Proficiency (Good to Have): Functional competence in basic graphic creation using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express to quickly produce clean, brand-consistent visuals.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently communicate strategies and results to merchant executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
