General Responsibilities
-
Implement the operational requirements for Content Review, in line with the overall Content Review strategy, vision and
goals. -
Work collaboratively with the Content Review team, to ensure smooth and on-time delivery of services to applicants

Provide metrics and supporting documents to the Head of Content Review, to support with the monthly KPI reports
-
Content Classification and Review Execution
-
Review audiovisual content using approved federal classification guidelines.
-
Flag content for restricted categories such as hate speech, obscenity, or misinformation.
-
Escalate borderline or sensitive content for additional review.
-
Record decisions in the content review system with justification.
-
Synthetic and AIGenerated Content Identification
-
Flag content that includes deepfake, AI-generated voices, or synthetic characters.
-
Assess whether synthetic content meets existing classification and safety standards.
-
Recommend cases for additional escalation where standards are unclear.
-
Apply early identification tools or metadata review.
-
Collaborate with legal and policy teams when synthetic content falls into grey areas.

Compliance Documentation and System Updates
-
Update the central system with classification outcomes, violation tags, and reviewer notes.
-
Maintain secure documentation and record of review history.
-
Ensure each reviewed item is logged with correct platform, format, and date fields.
-
Tag content with cultural sensitivity filters if needed.
-
Assist with internal classification audits.

Volume Management and Workflow Adherence

Meet daily/weekly review targets and ensure turnaround within expected timelines.
-
Flag delays in batch reviews or backlogs to the Head of Content Review.
-
Coordinate with team members to balance volume during high-submission periods.
-
Track classification trends by format (e.g., growth in OTT or influencer reviews).
-
Participate in workflow optimizations as systems evolve.

Continuous Learning and Quality Control

Participate in regular training on classification standards, emerging content risks, and AI ethics.
-
Provide feedback on classification criteria clarity or gaps.
-
Contribute to internal peer review or quality audits.
-
Maintain updated understanding of regional values and regulatory shifts.
-
Collaborate with the Archives team for long-term content storage and future reference.

Proficient: Federal and local classification guidelines for media

Experience Required

Functional Experience
-
2–4 years in editorial review, compliance, or media content production
-
Experience in applying classification rules or conducting media audits

Exposure to film, games, or digital content ecosystems preferred
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Journalism, or a related field
-
Training in classification or editorial compliance is preferred
