Job Description:

1. Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly and monthly forecasting for the KSA business.
  • Build and maintain financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet drivers) to project business performance under various scenarios.
  • Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts and budgets; prepare commentary, highlight risks/opportunities and recommend corrective actions.


2. Management Reporting & Business Partnering

  • Develop management reporting packs and KPI dashboards for senior leadership (country manager, regional finance, etc).
  • Partner with commercial/merchandising/operations teams to translate business drivers (sales volume, average order value, returns, cost of logistics, inventory levels) into financial impact.
  • Provide insight into unit economics, product profitability (by category, channel), margin contributions, and cost structure optimisation.


3. Working Capital & Inventory / Supply Chain Finance

  • Analyze the working capital cycle (inventory days, receivables, payables) and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain/operations to monitor inventory performance (turns, ageing, write-off risk) and support margin and cash flow outcomes.
  • Model the financial impact of logistics/fulfilment decisions (e.g., 3PL costs, shipping/methods) on margin and cash flow.


4. Strategic & Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Support business development, marketing/promotions, pricing and investment decisions by modelling impact, ROI, payback and sensitivity.
  • Drive scenario planning: e.g., what if sales growth slows 10 %, what if return rates double, what if shipping cost increases etc.
  • Help initiatives for process automation, reporting standardization, ERP/finance systems enhancements.


5. Controllership / Compliance Interface

  • Provide inputs to ensure finance operations (closing, statutory reporting, VAT, local GAAP/IFRS) are aligned with financial planning outputs.
  • Ensure data integrity, reconcile forecast vs actual, validate assumptions with accounting/operations teams.


Qualification & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an FP&A role, preferably in eCommerce, Retail, FMCG environment.
  • CA/CPA/ACCA and Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CFA Level I and FMVA certification are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business finance, category management and inventory planning.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and financial modelling; experience with automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, or R) is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
  • Accuracy and timeliness of forecast vs actual.
  • Depth and usefulness of variance analysis.
  • Contribution to margin improvement, cost savings, and working capital optimization.
  • Quality and impact of business partnering and decision support.
