We are currently seeking a Executive, Head of APPS BPS to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role Summary
NTT DATA is seeking a Banking Financial Services Industry Vertical Practice Leader to provide executive leadership for our Applications, Data, and Business Process Services practice. This role owns practice delivery, financial performance, and profitable growth across the BFS portfolio while serving as a senior industry leader and trusted advisor to our clients.
The role partners closely with NTT DATA’s Sales organization and strategic alliances to drive expansion, solution adoption, and industry-led campaigns, without direct sales quota responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Financial Leadership
- Own full practice PL, including revenue growth, margin performance, and cost optimization.
- Drive profitable growth through delivery excellence, portfolio optimization, and value-based solutioning.
- Establish strong operational governance, delivery standards, and performance management.
Industry Client Leadership
- Provide deep Banking Financial Services domain leadership, spanning retail and commercial banking, payments, capital markets, and wealth management.
- Advise senior client executives on digital transformation, regulatory change, data-driven modernization, and operating model optimization.
- Position NTT DATA as a strategic, long-term transformation partner.
Client Expansion Portfolio Growth
- Drive growth within existing BFS clients by expanding adoption of applications modernization, data analytics, automation, and business process services.
- Identify whitespace opportunities and shape multi-tower, cross-practice solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and reference ability.
Sales Ecosystem Collaboration
- Partner with the Sales organization to support industry campaigns, major pursuits, and solution strategy.
- Leverage NTT DATA’s global alliances ecosystem (hyperscalers, fintechs, data platforms) to accelerate differentiated offerings.
- Contribute to deal shaping, solution architecture, and commercial strategy without direct sales ownership.
Talent Capability Development
- Build and lead high-performing leadership and delivery teams.
- Develop future-ready BFS capabilities aligned to market demand and NTT DATA’s strategic roadmap.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership experience in Banking Financial Services technology and services.
- Demonstrated PL ownership and experience scaling services businesses profitably.
- Deep BFS domain expertise and strong understanding of regulatory and operational environments.
- Experience across applications, data analytics, automation, and/or business process services.
- Executive presence with the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience working with global delivery models and alliance ecosystems.
