Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and well-rounded HR Generalist to support our growing construction company. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day HR operations, support workforce compliance at job sites, oversee employee relations, and ensure smooth HR processes both at office and field levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for site and office-based roles.
- Work closely with site managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Manage onboarding and induction processes, ensuring documentation and compliance.
Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and policy interpretation.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in line with labor laws and company policy.
- Conduct regular check-ins with site employees to monitor morale and address issues.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, ID proofs, PF/ESI/UAN, etc.).
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, WC, labor licenses, etc.).
- Maintain compliance with state and central labor regulations related to the construction industry.
Performance Management
- Assist in setting up and monitoring performance review cycles.
- Support site supervisors in evaluating site-based staff and laborers.
- Provide input on promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and arrange training for both technical and soft skills.
- Coordinate safety training and toolbox talks in partnership with the HSE team.
HR Operations
- Manage attendance, leaves, and payroll inputs in coordination with finance.
- Monitor workforce deployment at sites and track contractor labor if applicable.
- Coordinate insurance claims (workmen compensation, mediclaim, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, especially those relevant to the construction industry.
- Experience handling blue-collar and contract workforce is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (SAP, Zoho, GreytHR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hindi or regional language proficiency (for effective site communication).
- Familiarity with safety compliance and labor contractor management.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Work Conditions:
- Based at Head Office with frequent travel to construction sites.
- May require work during extended hours based on site/project needs.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,692.05 per month
