Executive - Import & Export Documentation

Jamnagar, India

Key ResponsibilitiesImport & Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with international suppliers.
  • Coordinate and follow up on purchase orders, shipments, and dispatch schedules.
  • Obtain and compare quotations from shipping/logistics companies.
  • Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Finalize shipment arrangements and prepare complete shipping documentation.
  • Maintain order files and ensure timely updates in the Import Tracking Sheet.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies.

R&D & New Product Development

  • Research and identify potential new products and overseas suppliers.
  • Conduct price negotiations and commercial discussions with new vendors.
  • Maintain R&D development sheets and track progress of new product initiatives.
  • Support product sampling, testing, and evaluation processes.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Prepare and manage shipment documents for customs and shipping companies.
  • Maintain updated records of imports, supplier communication, and shipments.
  • Ensure proper filing and tracking of all import and R&D-related documents.

Courier & Logistics Coordination

  • Handle courier bookings with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other service providers.
  • Maintain courier tracking sheets and ensure timely delivery of samples/documents.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
