Experience: 2–3 years in Learning & Development, Training, or HR

Role Overview

The Executive – Learning & Development will design, implement, and evaluate training programs to enhance the skills and performance of paramedic staff and volunteers. This role ensures that learning initiatives align with the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across paramedic teams.
• Design and deliver training modules (classroom, workshops, e-learning) tailored to healthcare and emergency response.
• Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new staff and volunteers.
• Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation.
• Track, monitor, and report on training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback tools.
• Support leadership in succession planning and career development initiatives.
• Collaborate with external trainers, universities, and healthcare institutions for specialized programs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations in training delivery.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Learning & Development practices and adult learning principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to design training content using Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Analytical skills to measure training impact and recommend improvements.
• Team collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
• Exposure to healthcare or non-profit sector (preferred but not mandatory).
