Overview

The Executive - Logistics is a key role within our supply chain and operations team, responsible for overseeing the logistics functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will manage logistical strategies, coordinate with various departments, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery of products. This role helps optimize logistics processes, negotiate with vendors, and troubleshoot issues that may impact the supply chain. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily logistical operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Analyze logistical problems and develop innovative solutions to overcome them.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics operations and performance metrics to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in logistics operations.
• Manage and optimize inventory to maintain adequate supply levels and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, and production teams to align logistics activities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and other logistics partners.
• Lead and train the logistics team to improve department capabilities and efficiency.
• Proactively identify opportunities for logistics process improvements and implement changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.
• Strong understanding of logistics functions, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with vendors and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex logistics problems and devise effective solutions.
• Proficiency in logistics software and technologies for tracking and optimizing processes.
