Executive – Maintenance (FMCG/Food/Beverage Industry)

Location: Wada, Maharashtra & Sri Kalahasti, Andhra Pradesh
Function: Supply Chain – Manufacturing
Work Location: Plant

Objective

To manage and execute all utility-related activities including boiler operations, forklifts, chilling plant, air compressors, ETP, WTP, and preventive maintenance as per the maintenance program, ensuring uninterrupted support to all utility users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all maintenance activities as per Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Prepare and modify maintenance programs based on operational requirements.
  • Ensure 100% utility availability to support production targets.
  • Coordinate planning and execution of project and non-project activities.
  • Support customer departments in meeting PRS and Non-PRS goals.
  • Participate in implementing systems like ISO 9000, ISO 14001, etc.
  • Guide reportees in daily tasks and conduct skill gap analysis for training needs.
  • Monitor and maintain monthly spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure forklifts are always in running condition and maintain hygiene (GMP) in forklift areas.
  • Ensure safety equipment such as PRV and SRV are always functional.
  • Identify and close safety gaps in equipment and systems.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Engineering

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in maintenance roles in FMCG/Food/Beverage industries

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of equipment components and mechanisms
  • Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, PM planning, and spares management
  • Experience in shift operations & manpower handling (minimum 2 years)
  • Knowledge of TPM basics (CLIT, PM, Kaizen)
  • Knowledge of RCA tools (Why-Why, Fishbone)
  • Understanding of safety tools, work permit systems, hazard identification
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, HACCP, hygiene & 5S
