Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, hotels, QSR, retail, or amusement parks preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day procurement of food, beverages, consumables, and general items
- Coordinate with vendors for timely supply as per quality and quantity requirements
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure freshness and hygiene standards
- Raise purchase orders and maintain proper procurement documentation
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Support vendor negotiations and maintain vendor relationship records
- Monitor market prices and report fluctuations to seniors
- Coordinate with Finance for invoice submission and payment follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with procurement SOPs and food safety standards
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of procurement and vendor coordination
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak operational days
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as per business needs
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of local vendors and markets
- Experience handling perishable items
- Languages: English and Tamil preferred
