We are hiring urgently for Purchase Executive full time position for Walnut Medical, Mohali.

Qualifications & Experience: Any Graduate/Diploma in Material Management / Supply Chain / Electronics / Commerce with 2–4 years of experience in Purchase & Procurement preferably in electronics/electrical manufacturing.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of materials and components essential for production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Vendor Management:

o Identify, evaluate, and manage existing and new vendors.

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

o Monitor vendor performance on delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

· New Vendor Development:

o Research and on board new vendors for electronic components.

o Ensure suppliers meet quality and compliance standards.

o Maintain updated vendor databases and documentation.

· Procurement & Negotiation:

o Handle procurement of electronic components, raw materials, and consumables.

o Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost savings and quality procurement.

o Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.

· Cost Optimization:

o Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient purchasing strategies.

o Perform regular cost analysis and market research.

· MIS & Documentation:

o Maintain purchase records, supplier information, and cost data.

o Prepare and present regular reports related to purchases, price trends, and supplier performance.

o Ensure timely reporting through MIS tools and Excel.

· Coordination:

o Work closely with production, planning, and inventory teams to forecast material requirements.

o Coordinate with the finance team for vendor payments and documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

· In-depth knowledge of Electronic Component Procurement.

· Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.

· Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication (oral & written) skills.

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

· Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors and priorities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

· Prior experience in Electronics Manufacturing or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services).

· Must be comfortable working in Mohali, Punjab.

· Ability to handle high-pressure situations and strict timelines.
