IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

You will be responsible for implementing the GPON FTTH rollout plan by strategically managing financial and human resources, analyzing market competition, and identifying customer opportunities to drive profitable business outcomes.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:

• Conduct technical evaluations of the Outside Plant (OSP) Access Network (Copper and Fiber), including electrical testing of underground cables and physical surveys of various network elements such as MDF, Manholes, Cabinets, DPs, FDH, NAP, FAT, and OLTS.
• Inspect ongoing development work in the Access Network to ensure proper implementation and conduct joint surveys for cabinet renovation programs.
• Prepare and continuously improve checklists for technical audits, and generate weekly and monthly activity reports for Quality Assurance across all zones.
• Monitor and follow up on reports to ensure the continuous improvement of the Quality of Service (QoS) within the OSP.
• Ensure regional compliance with administrative, financial, and HR matters, maintaining adherence to budgets, targets, and deadlines through cost-efficient controls.
• Ensure compliance with legal, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and ethical standards, while monitoring, evaluating, and training reporting supervisors and executives.
• Ensure that every new addition or network element (e.g., OLT, FDH, Feeder route, switch, DWDM) is tested in accordance with approved Provisional Acceptance Testing (PAT) documents and prescribed procedures.
• Analyze customer complaints and provide actionable suggestions to relevant teams to improve fault rectification times, prevent fault reoccurrence, and reduce customer churn.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Qualification

• Education: BE/BSc Engineering or BS/MS in Computer Science. Internal candidates may also hold a BSc in Technology or B.Tech Honors in Electrical Technology.
• Experience: r elevant telecom experience for external candidates , or 8 years of experience for internal PTCL employees.

Technical Competency:

• Proficiency in testing optical fiber cables.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Pin-to-Port plan for Fiber Distribution Hubs (FDH).
• Solid knowledge of Access Network architecture.
• Experience and knowledge of pre-shipment inspection processes.
• Foundational knowledge of IP networks.
