IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

You will proactively maintain and enhance network standards by conducting provisional acceptance testing (PATs), technical audits, and customer service testing. You will also perform essential health checks on critical network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:

• Conduct technical evaluations of Outside Plant (OSP) access networks (copper and fiber), including electrical testing of underground cables and physical surveys of OSP elements (MDF, manholes, cabinets, DPs, FDH, NAP, FAT, and OLTS). Inspect ongoing development work to ensure proper implementation and participate in joint surveys for cabinet renovation programs.
• Prepare and continuously improve checklists for technical audits, generate weekly and monthly activity reports across all QA zones, and monitor Quality of Service (QoS) improvements for the OSP.
• Ensure regional staff compliance with administrative, financial, and HR matters, including adherence to budgets, targets, deadlines, and legal, EHS, and ethical standards, while monitoring employee performance.
• Train new entrants at the supervisor and executive levels.
• Ensure that every addition to existing network elements or new systems (such as OLT, FDH, feeder routes, switches, and DWDM) is tested according to approved PAT documents and prescribed procedures.
• Analyze customer complaints and provide recommendations to relevant teams to improve fault rectification times and prevent recurring issues, ultimately reducing customer churn.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BSc) or Computer Science (BSCS). Internal candidates may also hold a BSc in Technology, DAE, or B.Tech in Electrical Technology.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecom sector or a relevant field for external candidates, or 8 years of experience for internal employees.

Technical Competency:

• Proficiency in testing optical fiber cables.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of the pin-to-port plan for Fiber Distribution Hubs (FDH).
• Strong knowledge of access networks and IP networks.
• Experience with pre-shipment
• Knowledge of IP network
