Develop and progress packaging solutions for New Product Development projects, ensuring packaging is fit for purpose (by completing testing and trials) as well as delivering solutions which delights consumer.
Roles & Responsibilities
To support the launch of new products, following R&D plan and interacting in teams with Sales, Marketing, Production and Quality representatives.
To identify cost saving opportunities for the packaging material and implement across the packaging portfolio.
Qualification of packaging material with the coordination of production, Quality and warehouse team.
End-to-end project management for packaging development projects.
Define quality parameters of packaging material and prepare specifications accordingly.
Conduct trials for the new packaging development, Value-engineering, Machine Modifications for packaging material.
Finding alternate sustainable packaging solutions to support sustainable ambition of IFFCO group.
Handle customer complaints related to packaging and to provide solutions in coordination with production team, lab technician as support of Sales department.
To Lead the artwork approval system in coordination with all internal stakeholders.
To manage good technical data records-project data, artworks, trial reports.
Participation in exhibitions and conferences for the packaging of flour products and developing and understanding new developments in packaging & latest technology.

Work experience requirement
6 to 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing sector.
FMCG experience preferably in WMS environment.
Working knowledge of key packaging technology areas, development processes, packaging testing with decent knowledge of machinery interface.
Qualification
Post Graduation/Graduation in Packaging Technology (Preferably from IIP or any other equivalent institute)
