An HR Executive Generalist manages various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management. They ensure compliance with labor laws, help develop HR policies, handle employee queries, and work to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Core responsibilities

  • Talent acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job openings to interviewing candidates and conducting background checks.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding of new hires and organize new hire orientations.
  • Employee relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employees, resolve conflicts, address concerns, and handle investigations.
  • Compensation and benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Performance management: Support performance reviews, assist with goal-setting, and manage other aspects of the performance management cycle.
  • Training and development: Identify training needs, coordinate workshops, and support employee professional development initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all labor laws and regulations, and help develop and enforce company policies.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and prepare HR-related reports.
  • Policy and procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment/labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems is often preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
