IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

The purpose of this position is to provide continuous monitoring and first-level analysis of security events across the organization’s systems and networks. The SOC Analyst identifies potential threats, performs initial triage, documents findings, and escalates incidents according to established procedures. This role helps ensure timely detection of suspicious activity, supports incident response efforts, and contributes to maintaining the organization’s overall security posture.

• Alerts monitored within defined SLAs False positives identified and documented Accurate initial classification and prioritization
• Triage steps completed per SOPs Clear, complete investigation notes Proper escalation to Tier-2 when criteria met
• Timely creation and closure of tickets Documentation accuracy and completeness Compliance with IR and audit requirements
• Effective use of TI sources for enrichment Detection gaps reported appropriately Accurate tagging and IOC correlation
• Daily system checks completed Log ingestion issues reported promptly Consistent monitoring of endpoint/EDR health
• Handover notes delivered in required format Clear summary of pending investigations No missed critical alerts across shifts

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Competencies: TIA Security+ CCNA (Cyber Ops or Routing/Switching) Microsoft SC-900 / AZ-900 EC-Council Certs. Any SOC or SIEM-specific hands-on training Coursework in incident response or digital forensics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
