About the role
As an Executive Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving the successful completion of executive searches in close collaboration with Executive Recruiters across designated business areas. Your responsibilities will include leading candidate assessment and selection processes, managing offer negotiations, and ensuring seamless integration of senior hires. You will oversee stakeholder relationships throughout active searches, maintaining a strong focus on candidate and hiring manager experience. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance, data-driven insights, and recommendations to support critical hiring decisions. This role is accountable for delivering executive recruitment mandates at Vice President level and above across Qatar Airways Group and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Enhance existing search strategies through understanding market trends, identifying talent movement, collaboration with Executive Recruiters and hiring managers to identify the best talent for the role.
Manage assigned strategic pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill leadership roles with future talent skills and business needs in mind.
Input to strategic improvement plans on customer feedback, market intelligence, business needs and recruitment knowledge.
Operational:
Accountable for ensuring the delivery of output metrics which includes Quality-of-Hire (retention, time-to placement/fill), Source-of-Hire, Prospects-Conversion-Rates and Voice of Customer surveys for searches within assigned business areas.
Manage the executive search delivery process across assigned areas within Qatar Airways Group, managing portfolio of projects, overseeing stakeholder relationships on active searches and managing candidate and hiring manager satisfaction, with a focus on closing searches and selected candidates onboarding and integration into the company.
Lead special projects in line with the group-wide requirements in order to find the best talent needed.
Ensure readiness of candidate pipelines and market-related compensation through market research in collaboration with remuneration team.
Provide counsel to hiring executives during assessment and evaluation of candidates, acting as the primary negotiator and closer of selected candidates.
Promote best practices using the selection framework, coaching hiring managers where necessary and taking ultimate responsibility for high quality hiring decisions and meeting quality of hire metrics.
Continually contribute to the knowledge base of the Executive Recruitment team by tapping industry knowledge, latest recruitment best practices and innovative digital tools. Develop innovative ways to raise the bar on how Qatar Airways Recruits leadership talent.
Champion compliance with Qatar Airways Group policies and procedures throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. ATS, CRM, other tools e.g. LinkedIn) to consistent standards across the team.
Position and effectively articulate our unique employment brand, playing a key role in increasing awareness and equity of our brand.
Facilitate executive's integration into the organization through working closely with respective leaders to build individualized integration plan to accelerate the learning of leaders, and to gain alignment through engaging broader teams.
Support integration efforts through various tool such as integration plan, cultural questionnaire, identification of transition risks (external-to-QR, internal moves) etc.
In collaboration with Business Psychology Team identify potential risks based on assessments and identify suitable approaches for mitigation.
Regular reporting on end-to-end search progress against goals and timelines and lead business update meetings on active searches.
Cultivate a diverse network and proactive senior talent bench for existing and future roles - always having a pulse on business needs and strategy to align results.
Lead discussions on progress of active searches to manage expectations of hiring managers and division chiefs.
Influence the executive search talent acquisition process, clearly define Hiring Managers' roles, and set performance expectations.
Analyze and feedback input and output metrics to highlight areas for process and behavioral improvement.

About You
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience
Extensive executive search experience gained within a combination of executive search and corporate recruiting (VP level and above), focused on acquiring highly talented senior leaders
Experience in partnering with senior leadership and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
Exceptional people skills to build trust with executives and candidates.
Proficiency in leadership competency frameworks, psychometric tools, and cultural fit evaluation.
Skilled in structuring executive compensation packages and managing sensitive negotiations.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market intelligence, recruitment metrics, and provide actionable insights.
Ability to manage searches across multiple geographies and cultural contexts.
Navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Past hands-on experience in research / sourcing
Preferred
Experience of working within a global organization and complex business environment
Familiarity with aviation sector and competitive landscape to identify and attract top leadership talent.
Familiarity with ATS systems, BI dashboards, and executive recruitment tools
Executive coaching, assessment certifications (e.g., Occupational Ability & Personality, Hogan, Korn Ferry), or HR credentials (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
Proven resourcing experience within a fast paced, complex environment.
