IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Executive Technical Field Ops Rawat is responsible for Operation and Maintenance of Wireless & Switching Network i.e., MSAGs, MSANs, DSLAMs, DRS links, Repeaters and Corporate links working in scattered and far-flung areas of Rawalpindi District (Rural Tehsils like Kallar Syedan, Kahuta, Gujar Khan).

In addition to operation and maintenance of these working links, PMR of these links and operational NEs are done on almost monthly basis. The supervision and monitoring of daily activities can not be gone effectively due to non-availability of Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Monitoring and Maintenance of Wireless, Power Plant & Switching Network in district Rawalpindi(Rural Tehsils). Vigilant 24/7 outage monitoring and supervision of field team for fault resolution and reduction in outages
• Hardware inventory management and coordination with vendor for hardware requirement.
• OPEX management and taking cost saving initiatives by saving fuel and power consumption
• Traffic analysis for continuous improvement and up-gradation of network to avoid bandwidth congestion of Network Elements in Rural Tehsils of Rawalpindi district.
• Ensure Health, Safety and environmental conditions and standards to avoid any equipment damage, human life during deployment activities
• Supervise fuel topping in DG`s and ensure proper record keeping of Log Books

Qualification:

• BS Engineering (Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Software, Computer, Computer Science etc)

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge about NGN/GPON Network
• Monitoring of Network Equipment Alarms
• Knowledge of Field Operation & Maintenance
