Job Description
- Equipment & Trailer Maintenance
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of trailers, engines, transmissions, and structural components.
- Perform pre-operational checks and identify malfunctions or issues during vehicle operation.
- Support minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
- Consumables & Fuel Management
- Manage inventory of consumables such as diesel, lubricants, and spares.
- Maintain reorder levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Oversee fuel dispensing and unloading in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Inventory & Documentation
- Handle spares and consumables through proper approval and issuance processes.
- Maintain stock registers, indents, and gate passes as per procedures.
- Conduct reconciliation between physical inventory and records.
- Prepare and share daily reports with maintenance staff and yard teams.
- Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with the movement team for empty and loaded container movements within and outside the facility.
- Provide timely updates and reports to yard staff and management.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Follow instructions from the maintenance staff for smooth day-to-day operations.
