IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Ensure efficient planning, operation, maintenance, and performance management of the ITR Transmission Network, including SDH, PTN, IPRAN and DWDM systems, while maintaining compliance with network KPIs and quality standards. The role also oversees both Network Management System (NMS) and field operations, ensuring seamless service continuity and adherence to ISO quality procedures.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

• 24/7 NMS Monitoring, Fault escalation and resolution. Corrective Maintenance including O&M of Transport network in Islamabad metropolitan area (Coordination with FMC for restoration of junction and Access OFC cuts, Low Power issues at Transport access and core NEs).
• Preventive Maintenance of Transport and IP edge Network
• Lead and coordination to manage fiber maintenance teams working continuously 24/7 to address Junction and Access network issues
• Ticket and service request handling
• Coordination with Vendor for Level-III Support
• Physical layer readiness for new services working through Transport Network

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• BE/BS in Electrical Telecom Engineering / BSCS from HEC recognized university

Technical Competency:

• Knowledge of Transmission Network (Product detail, Installation, Commissioning, Testing and Operation)
• Transmission Network Operations & Maintenance
