IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for O&M of long haul, carrier, GPON, corporate and access fiber network (ISP and OSP) of Distt. Sargodha, Khushab/Jauharabad domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Protection of optical fiber cables. Liaison with civic agencies and optical fiber cable operators to avoid cable cuts.
• Restoration of links within minimum possible time in case of cable cut.
• To ensure updation of optical fiber cable network on GIS portal by fulfilling all formalities. Moreover, to have cable network drawings updated whenever any change in network occurs.
• To secure network proactively where dev activities are going on by civic agencies and telecom/cable operators.
• To prepare estimate to get capital cost bill from the agency carrying out dev activity along the fiber cable route. To get pre deposit amount against submitted capital cost bill by continuous follow up.
• To ensure that team caters for safety measures and uses PPEs to avoid any fatal incident during cable protection/restoration activities.

Qualification:

• B.E/B.Sc Engineering in (Telecom/Electrical/Electronics)

Technical Competencies

• Expert in MS Office, SAP, Computer software tools
• Problem solving skills.
• Field operations, Knowledge of Telecommunications networks
