Exhibition Designer (Spatial Storytelling + Experience Design)

About the Role

We are looking for an Exhibition Designer who can translate curatorial and brand narratives into spatial experiences that feel intentional, immersive, and culturally intelligent.

This is not a “make it look nice” role. This is narrative + spatial problem-solving, with high attention to detail and strong execution maturity.

What You’ll Do

• Convert curatorial ideas into spatial concepts + visitor journeys
• Design exhibition layouts, wall systems, partitions, circulation paths, and display structures
• Create moodboards, material palettes, lighting and signage direction
• Develop design presentations for client approval and stakeholder alignment
• Collaborate with curators, researchers, brand-strategists, graphic designers to translate concepts into technical drawings
• Work with vendors/fabricators and participate in on-ground installations when needed
• Ensure design is feasible, within budget, and installable

You’re a Fit If You

• Think like a storyteller, not just a designer
• Understand museums/galleries/exhibition formats (or have strong aptitude to learn fast)
• Can balance concept + constraints without compromising quality
• Have experience with spatial design tools (SketchUp / Rhino / AutoCAD / Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Communicate clearly and deliver on time, no drama, no delays

Bonus If You

• Have worked on museum exhibitions / fairs / experiential brand activation
• Know how to build in modular systems
• Understand lighting, materials, and fabrication processes
