Interior Designer – Job Description

Position Overview
An Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior spaces that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with client requirements. They collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to transform spaces into well-designed environments that balance creativity, practicality, and budget considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Create detailed drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
- Select materials, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
- Oversee site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong creativity and artistic sense.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of ergonomics, spatial planning, and sustainability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Professional certification (optional but preferred).
- 3 –4 years of experience in interior design or related roles.

Pay: ₹10,531.11 - ₹65,549.04 per month
