Location: Sarasota, FL

Position Type: This position will begin as part-time during our opening phase, with planned expansion to full-time as the practice grows.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture and systems of a brand-new practice while delivering outstanding patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during general, cosmetic, and restorative procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
• Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols
• Provide excellent chairside support and patient education
• Manage room turnover efficiently and assist with clinical flow
• Support front office or administrative tasks as needed during opening phase

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification (state requirements apply)
• X-ray certification required
• Prior dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, calm demeanor with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to adapt in a start-up environment and work as part of a team
