Expeditor- Supply Chain (Temp role)

Position: Expeditor (2 months temporary role)

ROLE PURPOSE:

To execute on-time delivery of jobs line wise and co-ordinate with inter-departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Order Execution

• Review orders to ensure the delivery dates and other details are as per schedule.
• Execute and initiate picking for stock order picking and plan for timely shipment
• Order closure by attaching PODs.

Sales Support

• Constantly liaise with the Commercial team for timely updates of the sales order.
• Keep communication with various internal and external department for timely update
• Coordinate with inter-departments for line wise order execution and on-time delivery.

Training and Support

• Provide support as required to ensure good performance of expediting Team members.
• Constantly monitor the execution process and raise concern if processes are not in line or need improvement

Expediting activities

• Manage effective expediting activities by obtaining timely feedback /updates.
• In case of any issues in the order execution make sure for timely Escalations.

Reports & Documentation

• Prepare, monitor and update status reports.
• Prepare Invoices, shipping documents, packing lists etc. for future shipments.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in supply chain field, preferably with exposure to mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, order management tools and MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Term: 2 Months temporary role.
