We are located in Sarasota (Headquarters), Tampa, St Petersburg and Orlando (Winter Park). The candidate filling this position would be assigned to Sarasota as the primary location. However, the candidate must be willing to commute to our other locations as the MA floater and cross trained in laboratory processing.
Training for this position involves travel to our other locations in Tampa and St. Pete

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Immediate opening for an administrative / medical assisting position with phlebotomy (required) and fluoroscopy/x-ray experience (preferred). General duties include obtaining patient histories, maintaining patient flow, obtaining and recording vital signs. Perform administrative duties, including answering telephone calls and emails, greeting patients, updating patient medical records, handling correspondence, arranging for laboratory services. Assist with procedure preparation. Assist physician during procedures (which include ultrasound and fluoroscopy). Assist patients to their vehicles with the use of wheelchair as needed. Clean and restock examination rooms. Help maintain inventory of supplies, ordering and restocking as needed. Cross-train with other medical assistant(s) and lab processor. Perform other job-related duties as required of the physician(s).
