We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Amazon Wholesale FBA Intern to join our dynamic e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and a solid understanding of the Amazon FBA wholesale model. This role will involve hands-on participation in various aspects of our Amazon operations, from product sourcing and listing to inventory management and sales analysis. The intern will work closely with the e-commerce manager to optimize our Amazon store's performance and contribute to our overall sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Research and Sourcing:
- Conduct in-depth product research to identify profitable wholesale opportunities on Amazon.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform product selection.
- Utilize product research tools (e.g., Jungle Scout, Helium 10, Keepa) to validate product viability.
- Assist in identifying and vetting potential wholesale suppliers and distributors.
- Listing and Optimization:
- Create and manage product listings on Amazon Seller Central.
- Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and keywords for improved search visibility and conversion rates.
- Ensure listings are accurate, compelling, and compliant with Amazon's policies.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Assist in creating and managing FBA shipments to Amazon's fulfillment centers.
- Track inbound shipments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Have a working knowledge of inventory replenishment strategies.
- Account Health and Performance:
- Monitor key account health metrics and take proactive measures to maintain a healthy seller account.
- Assist in managing customer feedback and reviews.
- Stay updated on Amazon's terms of service and policy changes.
- Sales Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing regular reports on sales, inventory, and advertising performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- Demonstrable experience with the Amazon FBA wholesale business model.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
- Familiarity with the entire process of sourcing, listing, and shipping products for FBA.
- Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and the Amazon marketplace.
- Knowledge of product research methodologies and tools.
- Basic understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) in e-commerce, such as conversion rate, ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales), and ROI (Return on Investment).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Amazon seller tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
