Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrives on time for shifts .
  • Wears uniform and name tag while on duty.
  • Greets all guests promptly and courteously.
  • Performs pre and post shift side work, stocks service station, makes coffee, etc.
  • Promotes proper sanitation and safety for guests and employees at all times.
  • Observes proper food handling techniques as required by hotel and health department.
  • Promotes positive guest and employee relations.
  • Familiar with all menu items and product flavor, descriptions, methods of preparation, and prices.
  • Familiar with all proper coffee operations menu items and product flavor, descriptions, and methods of preparation
  • Works within policy to accommodate guest’s special food coffee requests.
  • Up sells established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues.
  • Legibly documents the guest’s order information on guest checks.
  • Forwards customer payments to cashier for completion of the transaction as outlined in cash and charge procedures. Receives change from cashier and returns change promptly to guests.
  • May assist Cashier/Host/Hostess with greeting and seating guests.
  • May assist bus person with cleaning tables and filling glasses.
  • Must be available during the summer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
