Experienced Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our café. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and attention to detail.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is an asset.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
• Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.13 - $19.50 per hour
