We are growing and actively building a pipeline of leaders in waiting.

This role is for experienced baristas with prior leadership experience who are ready to operate at a high level and continue developing into key contributors on the floor.

This is not an entry-level position.

About the Role

You will be hired as an Experienced Barista, with the expectation that you can perform at a high level immediately while demonstrating leadership behaviors from day one.

We are looking for individuals who can become trusted operators on the floor, support team performance, and help uphold standards during high-volume service.

Advancement opportunities exist for those who earn them through performance, consistency, and leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute all drinks to Coffeeism standards with precision and consistency
• Maintain speed while protecting quality (target ticket times ≤ 4 minutes)
• Stay planted in assigned positions and support overall team flow
• Deliver a strong guest experience through hospitality and product knowledge
• Follow all systems related to POS, prep, cleanliness, and workflow

Leadership Expectations

• Prior experience in a lead, shift lead, or supervisory role in a café or similar environment
• Ability to help guide flow during high-volume periods
• Support and coach team members in real time when needed
• Demonstrate awareness beyond your station and anticipate needs
• Uphold and reinforce standards through example and accountability
• Take initiative and make decisions within established systems

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is required
• Strong composure and decision-making under pressure
• A team-first mindset in a shared, fast-paced environment
• High standards for cleanliness, organization, and drink quality

Non-Negotiables

• This is not a training role for new baristas
• Shortcuts are not permitted — quality and intention come first
• Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent with scheduling
• Ability to follow structure, systems, and chain of command

Compensation & Growth

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience
• Tipped position with consistently strong tip averages driven by high guest volume and premium check averages
