BILLING EXECUTIVE FOR LEADING HOSPITAL FOR NIGHT SHIFT ONLY

Responsibilities:

1️ Emergency & Surgical Billing

• Prepare and generate accurate inpatient and emergency bills.
• Handle billing for emergency admissions, surgeries, Cath lab procedures, ICU admissions, and investigations.
• Ensure correct entry of procedures, consumables, implants, and pharmacy charges.

2️ Cash Collection & Financial Handling

• Collect payments (Cash / UPI / Card / Online transfers).
• Issue proper receipts and maintain transaction records.
• Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
• Ensure zero variance in cash handling.

3️ Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain billing documentation accurately.
• Verify patient details and approvals.
• Coordinate with insurance/TPA desk (if required).
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing protocols and audit standards.

4️ Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with:
• Duty Doctors
• ICU Nurses
• OT Team
• Pharmacy
• Lab
• Handle patient attenders professionally during emergency situations.
• Address billing-related queries calmly and courteously.

5️ Reporting

• Prepare daily night collection summary.
• Submit handover report to morning billing team.
• Report discrepancies immediately to Operations / Accounts Head.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any Degree preferred)
• Experience in Hospital Billing (Minimum 1–3 years preferred)
• Experience in emergency/night billing will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Required Skills:

• Strong numerical accuracy
• Good communication skills (Tamil & English mandatory)
• Ability to work under pressure (emergency environment)
• Emotional maturity while dealing with patient relatives
• Integrity and financial accountability
• Computer proficiency (HIS software / MS Excel)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
