Experienced Car Mechanic (German & Chinese Cars)

We are hiring an experienced Car Mechanic with strong hands-on expertise in German and Chinese passenger vehicles. Technicians skilled in BMW and Mercedes diagnosis and repair will be given priority. The ideal candidate must confidently handle multi-brand cars with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair

• Perform accurate diagnosis using OBD scanners, multimeters, and physical inspection.
• Repair and service major systems: engine, gearbox (AT/CVT/DCT), suspension, brakes, electrical, AC, and driveline.
• Handle German cars confidently, especially BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and Volkswagen.
• Repair Chinese brands such as Chery, Geely, MG, Haval, JAC, Jetour, Changan, and BYD, including ECU and electrical faults.
• Complete advanced jobs including timing chain replacement, engine overhaul, gearbox removal/refit, turbo issues, and AC compressor repairs.
• Perform basic hybrid system checks and repairs.

2. Technical Expertise

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic flow charts.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools: Launch, Autel, Bosch, OEM tools for German/Chinese brands.
• Identify complex faults such as misfires, DPF problems, turbo failures, CAN-bus errors, module failures, and electrical shorts.
• Carry out ECU coding, adaptations, module resets, and calibrations when required.
• Ensure proper use of workshop tools, equipment, and SOPs.

3. Quality Control

• Verify each repair through test drives and technical checks before delivery.
• Ensure all jobs meet workshop quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Report recurring faults or technical issues to the workshop manager.

4. Team & Customer Interaction

• Coordinate with service advisors to provide accurate diagnosis, repair plans, and time estimates.
• Explain technical issues in simple language when needed.
• Support junior technicians through guidance and technical troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively to improve workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician.
• Strong and proven experience in BMW & Mercedes is highly preferred.
• Must have solid experience in German & Chinese cars.
• Ability to diagnose complex electrical & mechanical issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs within target time.
• Basic English/Hindi/Arabic preferred.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
