Experienced Caregivers- Late Afternoons/Evenings + Weekends

FirstLight Home Care is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one, in- home care for clients throughout McHenry County. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships and making a difference in someones day, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive and caring team.

What you'll be doing

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes by following detailed care plans
• Assist with ADLs
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities they enjoy
• Support mobility, transfers, and safety
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Provide Dementia/Alzheimer's care when needed

Experience with Hoyer lifts and Dementia care is highly valued.

Schedule Needs

• Availability for afternoon and evening shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Flexible scheduling beyond these core needs

What We’re Looking For

• Prior caregiving experience required (professional or advanced family caregiving experience)
• Dependable, compassionate, and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout McHenry County

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
