Experienced CNC Operator / Machinist – Mills, Lathes & Swiss

P1 Manufacturing (a subsidiary of E.D. Industries, Inc.) located in Rogersville, MO is seeking an Experienced CNC Operator / Machinist – Mills, Lathes & Swiss to join our team. This is a full time job, day shift (overtime available)with starting pay $20.00/hour minimum — significantly higher based on experience and skill level.

P1 Manufacturing is a subsidiary of E.D. Industries, founded in 1972. Our Rogersville, MO shop runs CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and 5-axis mill-turns in a clean, climate-controlled environment. We invest in our equipment and our people.

Job Summary

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Swiss lathes, grinders and 5-axis mill-turns
• Read and edit programs, G&M codes, tool offsets, and speeds & feeds
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T; work to tight aerospace-grade tolerances
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges, and indicators
• Adjust offsets and program origins; change cutting tools, holders, and inserts
• Set up jobs from start to finish without assistance
• Mentor and train Level I and Level II operators (Level III / Machinist)
• Monitor production for quality and notify supervision of any issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or technical certificate
• Minimum 1 year of CNC operating experience (more for senior roles — see below)
• Solid blueprint reading with a working understanding of GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, mics, depth/height gauges, indicators)
• Shop math including geometry and trig
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Positive qualifications (a plus but not required)

• Forklift certification
• SolidWorks, eDrawings, and Microsoft Office
• Tight-tolerance background

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
