Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care, utilizing advanced dental technology, and working collaboratively within a professional team. This role offers an opportunity to serve diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients, in a modern and well-equipped environment. Wednesdays, Thursdays, 2 Saturdays a month. Very competitive pay offered.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical expertise and diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric cases.
- Utilize dental CAD/CAM technology for restorations and other procedures to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Administer anesthesia and perform various dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, and cosmetic treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth practice operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry legally within the state.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD technology used in restorative procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
