CASE Construction is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to run bulldozers and excavators, with the ability to operate other equipment like skid steers, rollers, and loaders as needed.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already knows how to run dirt, work safely around crews and utilities, and produce clean, efficient work without being micromanaged.

Most of our work is within 60 miles of Edinburgh, transportation to and from the jobsite is provided in the crew truck, and there are no overnight trips.

What you’ll do

• Operate dozers and excavators on construction jobsites
• Run additional equipment such as skid steers, rollers, loaders, and similar machines
• Perform grading, excavation, backfilling, site prep, stone work, and general dirt work
• Work around crews, jobsite traffic, and changing site conditions safely and efficiently
• Read the job, maintain grade, and help keep production moving
• Perform daily walkarounds and report maintenance or repair issues
• Take care of equipment and operate it the right way

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred
• Strong experience operating bulldozers and excavators
• Ability to operate multiple types of equipment, not just one machine
• Experience with grading, excavation, and general sitework
• Good awareness around safety, production, and finished quality
• Dependable and on time
• Able to work well with a crew and follow direction from the foreman
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Pay: $26.64 - $32.08 per hour
