Experienced DME Sales Agent

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns to join our Medical Billing team focused on the US healthcare market. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end medical billing processes, including charge entry, payment posting, claim submission, denial management, and AR follow-up. You’ll work directly with experienced billing professionals and gain practical knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting medical claims to insurance companies (US Market).
• Support charge entry and payment posting activities in billing software.
• Perform claim status checks and help resolve denials and rejections.
• Maintain accurate billing data and patient account information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution and reimbursement.
• Learn and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and US healthcare regulations.
• Generate daily/weekly reports as required by the billing manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (pursuing or completed) in Commerce, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Good understanding of basic medical billing concepts preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer applications.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR or medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, Athena, eClinicalWorks, etc.).
• Prior exposure to US healthcare or insurance processes.
