Experienced Driver Manager. The Driver Manager will execute, direct, and coordinate shipments. NORTH LAS VEGAS FACILITY

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Make sure that all routes are optimized, and the loads are delivered on time.
• Maintains knowledge of regulations related to transportation including those related to employee safety, and freight classifications.
• Ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies, and government regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:

• Experience managing CDL class A drivers.
• Knowledge of Operations, Hours of Service regulations, and DOT / State Regulations within the transportation industry

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
